Covid and Online Learning

In all honesty I forgot that my website exists and I think I know why, this coarse doesn’t feel like we’re doing anything, sure we are being assigned projects and there are lessons but because they’re all theory I haven’t had the motivation to do anything, it just feels like we’re on constant standby just waiting until the coarse ‘actually’ starts, and it hasn’t been made very clear as to what we have meant to have done or what is actually a project.

I know that the reason that I haven’t done any posts on my website could be boiled down to ‘being lazy’ and I don’t exactly have a counter argument or at least I can’t be motivated enough to think of one, the only project that I have motivation for is the News Program project and that’s only because we might be able to do this project in college.

Overall online lessons really don’t work for me, I don’t do any work in the lessons and after the lessons I feel too drained to do any work outside of lessons but more importantly I don’t feel like Im learning, I really want to do well on this coarse but with the current situation regarding online learning I genuinely don’t see myself doing well as it’s more than likely that we’re gonna get marked on theory and written work alone, and even the idea that I will probably fail this year of the course if I don’t post on my website doesn’t spark any motivation in me not even motivation out of fear of failing, because this year of the course hasn’t felt real when we are online. All tho I’m entirely convinced that its a lack of motivation for college work as I don’t have any motivation for personal projects either.
